Firebomb

|
A floating firebomb. Explodes when it's HP falls below a certain point dealing damage to all players nearby, however deplete all of its HP and it will not explode. It is weak to ice. Found in the Lava parts of El Nath's Dead Mine Dungeon, and a few alongside the Red Slimes in Showa's Sauna. Once, it was rarely seen, but now it can be found in large number inside the Bigger Ben dungeon in New Leaf City.

Pink Teddy
|
|
This is an easy monster with high meso drops, just like most other Ludibrium monsters. It moves faster than the brown teddy. It jumps and can fall down, too. It is basically a Jr. Kitty with slower speed, larger size, and worse drops. Found in Ludibrium's Toy Factory.
Monster Book: A pink teddy bear manufactured at the toy factory in Ludibrium. It has a cute yellow ribbon around its neck. This monster is controlled by an unknown force originating from the Dimensional Schism.

Pinboom
|
|
A small sea-urchin like monster found in Aqua Road : Mushroom Coral Hill and Aqua Road : The Sharp Unknown. To reach this monster easily, use the dolphin taxi. This monster can send out a burst of spikes to attack a player, which is rare for a monster this weak. It proves to be harmless to long-ranged characters such as Assassins, Archers, and Magicians, unless they spawn in a swarm around the player. Warriors should probably avoid this monster. Additionally, it is immobile and attacks whenever you go close to it, like Nependeath.

Drake

|
A strong dragon monster. Possesses stronger attacking ability and speed than the Copper Drake. Found deep in the Ant Tunnel.

Dark Fission
|
|
A black blob monster from MSEA's Malaysia map. It sports an elvis-style hairdo. It also has a tail and a quest which give it the possibility that it is also a cat. Why it is called Dark Fission is unknown.

Drumming Bunny
|
|
Slow and not very strong. Easy to kill beside the fact that it lives with Planeys and other flying Eos Tower monsters that are stronger than it. It also resides on the lower-middle Eos Tower Floors, making it difficult to reach. It also drops some good items, like the Red Whip, Mokbi, and the dull crystals used in an Omega Sector quest. They also drop a good amount of mesos for their level. One particularly painful quest associated with these monsters is the Roly Poly's request to gather 1,000 of their Drums.

Roloduck
|
|
A mother duck on wheels with 3 ducklings on wheels following it. Fast, but it cannot jump. Resides with members of the teddy family, in Ludibrium's Cloud/Sky terrace. If you move towards the terrace, their spawns become bigger and they become less rare. On the last map before the Terrace, they dominate the area, accompanied by a couple of Panda teddies. They sport odd drops, like Glove stimulators. Basically, a strange monster all around. Sometimes hunted by collectors for the cute toy Ducklings it drops.
Monster Book: A family of ducks manufactured at the toy factory in Ludibrium. These toy ducks, comprised of a mother duck and her ducklings that follow behind, are being controlled by an unknown force originating from the Dimensional Schism.

Hector

|
A brown wolf. It has decent mobility and can jump, but deals less damage than Golems. It does, however, possess a magic attack which can be quite annoying. You can jump when it attacks to avoid the spell. The monster of choice to train on when Zombies are unavailable for level 60-70 characters. Located in a number of maps to the right of El Nath. In GlobalMS, the Mad Turkeys were spawning with them for about 3 months after Thanksgiving.

Lucida
|
|
This monster is found in the deepest part of Orbis' Color Gardens, called Stairway to the Sky. Like the bigger colored kitties, Lucida can attack from a range. It is weak to holy and spawns in large quantities, but has a poor HP to EXP ratio, so they are rarely hunted. They also appear in large numbers at Zipangu's Hall of Mushroom, spawning alongside the Blue Mushmom.

Red Drake
|
|
This is one of the easiest monsters that drops Steely throwing stars. Most of the 50+ Ice/Lightning Wizards and 60+ Assassins can be found hunting these for steelies. However, in GMS, their map has been replaced with fire boars and they have been relocated to the Sleepywood dungeon. It has a powerful ranged magical Fireball attack, so watch out.

Boss
|
The final boss in Mu Lung Dojo. He's pretty tough, as he can cast seduce (This version forces you to crouch down for the duration of the curse), zombify, weakness, and can summon Mini Pandas. It also uses damage reflection once its hp is past 50%. The extremely high knockback means that ranged characters won't just be able to pin him down, like what happens with most high level mobile bosses. This boss possesses different offensive skills; it can fire a very fast energy ball that deals around 3.6k damage along with a heavy knockback, it can also enlarge itself and cause an earthquake like attack. Finally it can use an AoE skill that summons falling pillars to land in a certain area indicated by a flashing panda statue.

Boss

Red Goblin
|
|
Another statue that has come to life. It's appearance is based on that of a Demon from Thailand's national epic, the Ramakien. This monster can be found in Siam's Golden Temple.

Seacle
|
|
One of the seahorses found east of Aquarium. A weaker version of Cico. Easy target but doesn't seem to be good training.
|
Panda Teddy
|
|
A monster that appears within Ludibrium's Toy Factory and in the terrace alongside roloducks. Similar to the other Teddy monsters, but stronger.
|
Bloctopus
|
|
A monster found around the mid-levels of Ludibrium's Eos Tower. Fairly fast and can jump, but otherwise not much of a threat. Dr. Kim of Omega Sector thinks it might be related to the Mateons attacking there.
|
Moon Bunny
|
|
This monster must be protected from hordes of monsters in the Henesys PQ. It is also an enemy found in Korean Folk Town in which, when angered, will try to kill you with its stick.

Ally
|
A book possessed by a pink spirit, as opposed to the typical blue one. Found In a secret room of the Nautilus with stronger monsters from Mu Lung. He also appears as an NPC inside the nautilus. Can be only attacked by another monsters, so you must protect it. Don't walk into it, though, as it can still inflict touch damage.

White Fang
|
|
A white, upgraded version of Hectors. Has higher HP, defense, and a more powerful magic attack. Weak to Fire now, and strong against ice. It does possess some good drops, so some people like to go Pang Hunting at Wolf Territory V. Be careful of the occasional Lycanthrope that spawn, however.

Red Slime
|
|
Found in the bathhouse in Zipangu. Their stats are completely different, much higher than its weaker counterparts. They are also incredibly fast. Strangely, Red slimes do not have an etc. drop, like Street Slimes.

Rabbit

Krappy
|
|
A clownfish that lives in Aqua Road. This monster gives more experience than the zombie mushroom for only an extra 50 HP, but its location in Aqua Road makes it difficult to reach. Moves around a lot and is a pain for melee characters.

Ice Drake
|
|
Has a weakness to fire and an avoidable long range ice attack. Appears in decent number in the Drake's Meal Table expansion. Another alternative of Zombies for Fire Magic, with good spawn, though not very popular due to its distant location. Not available in all versions.

Oly Oly

A black blob monster from MSEA's Malaysia map. This one's rolling a tire around.

Balrog's Left Hand

The left hand of the Balrog that Tristan defeated. Though it is the Balrog's left hand, it appears on the right side of the player's screen because the balrog is facing towards the screen. chains will spring forth from the ground and tie it down.

A toy helicopter that flies around the outside of Ludibrium's Eos Tower. It is not as fast as a Chirpy and flies in straight lines because it is a helicopter.

|
A Toy Knight on a wooden horse. Fast and incredibly durable, they also have the ability to increase their physical attack and defense. They reside in Ludibrium: Secret Factory and Sky Terrace area. Quite a pain to lower leveled players when summoned. These also appear in the Amoria Party Quest.

Snow Witch
|
|
This is the snow witch that lives around the El-Nath Snowfields for catching botters. Because she is known to become angry all of a sudden, a group of hunters made an alter wherever she has been spotted. Dropping an etc. item from a monster from el nath calm her down thus taking away her ability to send you back to town.

Propelly

A purple toy plane that flies around the outside of Ludibrium's Eos Tower. Only appears on the lower floors.

Scorpie

|
One of the seahorses found at east of Aquarium. This is the stronger seahorse, though it's about the same as Seacle.

Hodori
|
|
A Tiger monster found in Korean Folk Town. Has incredibly high avoid, almost as much as the Crimson Balrog. Gives warriors and mages a hard time for this reason.
|
Dark Drake
|
|
This is the strongest of all the drakes, but only a little stronger than Ice Drakes and spawns with them too. Fires Lightning projectile magic attacks. They make awkward noises when they die. Even though it has wings it can't fly or even jump. Be careful though, for this drake isn't stupid; it will step away from you to fire it's projectile! Not available in all versions.

This very slow moving monster is a target that was set up to act as a challenge for players seeking to become a Master. Looks a lot like the Archer's Puppet skill. Found at Mu Lung Practice Field.

Stone Bug

A rocky, centipede-like monster. Unlike all the other monsters in Ellin, it doesn't appear to be an early version of anything. Some people, however, think it resembles a Wolf Spider, due to its' single eye and spherical body. Only found in Ellin Forest, an area in the past. It sports an insane amount of accuracy, so don't count on it missing you, regardless of your level.

A Tiger that stands on two feet, it can slow and stun you. It Has a ranged magic attack. Located in the Korean folk Town.

A monster from Herb Town. The Bellflowers were once a peaceful race living in the Bellflower valley outside of Herb Town. When the Pirates began attacking, their leader was kidnapped by Lord Pirate and is being held hostage aboard their ship. The pirates, in their cruelty, have forced the Bellflowers to defend their hideout.

A black squishy slime that always carries a blue inner tube around with it. This one is weak to Fire. Found in Singapore's CBD.

Zakum Party Quest

Really annoying, and seen only in the first quest to get the Eye/Seed of Fire. Can do 400 damage with its thrown sword, and occasionally spawns in trios when a treasure chest is destroyed.

Boss

Currently, the strongest monster in the Boswell field section of Omega Sector. Spawns about every 40 minutes, and has a missile magic attack that can be avoided. Located at the end of Boswell Field, in a Hidden Street entitled "Defeat Monsters."

An older version of the earlier Bellflower. It is being forced to attack players by the cruel Lord Pirate, who has kidnapped their leader. For some reason, it is stronger than it was when it was young! Found near Herb Town.

Roid

It looks like a remote that grew legs and walked off. A technology-based monster animated through the powers of Alchemy. It uses no magic whatsoever, but it has a tendency to travel in huge swarms. Ice is most effective to this monster. The weakest robotic monster found in the Alcadno Laboratories of Magatia.

A book possessed by a water spirit. Found In Foggy Forest of Mu Lung. It doesn't appear to have any magical attacks although it does power up when engaged.

A huge prehistoric mushroom. It looks like it may be related to the Horned and Green Mushroom family, rather than the Orange mushrooms. Unlike Mushmom's spore, which is a light color, the spore given off by Algae Mushroom is extremely dark in color. Only found in Ellin Forest, an area in the past.

It is a fox with three tails. It can do a magic attack that looks similar to Magic Claw, except purple. It can inflict Curse on you as well. Its weakness to fire makes Fire mages consider training on them, although its avoidability can be a problem. Samiho is still young, but it will grow up to become the legendary nine-tailed fox. Despite this fact, it's considered to be as powerful by the Korean Folk Town's residents. This monster is portrayed as Ariba in the MapleStory Anime, which is a bipedal version of this monster. Located in Korean Folk Town, and also found in the Pine Forest area of Mushroom Shrine, in Zipangu.

A bear that apparently knows Karate. It performs an attack that closely resembles Magic Claw. Found in Mu Lung's Wild Bear Area. Just hitting it once will make it angry, which increases its speed.

Coolie Zombie

Previously considered the most popular training spot for classes level 60-80. Even though 80 maps are available (4 maps on 20 channels), the zones were almost always full on the popular servers. It is a long and dangerous walk to The Forest of Dead Trees (without Dead Mine scrolls), so those looking for a faster/cheaper alternative may want to take a look at Hectors. Zombies rarely drop anything of worth but do make good NPC profit, but the exp rate more than makes up for it. Tackle them as low as level 55 if you've got good equips, or even as low as 50 if you've got godly equips. To get there, go to the level 50+ zone, and keep walking. Unfortunately, you have to go through maps with several powerful monsters and once you get there, and you have a high chance of getting kill-stolen. It's recommended that you pick up their teeth, as you can collect enough per repot to make a profit from time to time. This monster is also one of two monsters that drop the book Bishops require to get their Resurrection Skill. Their maps have been altered since their heyday, though, with platforms and stairs added. It has one Ranged attack, when your in the range near the Zombie, it will blow a poison breath which sometimes poisons you so bring antidotes or All Cures.

Slightly faster in movement than Coolie Zombies. They appear in the mines and are much less popular because their spawn is much slower, and their maps are not as good. They drop gold teeth now and then, which are used for the final Zakum pre-quest. Spawns with Fly Eyes. It also does the same attack as his counterpart.

It's an enormous, prehistoric wild boar. It also somewhat resembles the Silver Mane mount. Only found in Ellin Forest, an area in the past.

A unique monster found near Mu Lung. It has a magic attack, but it can easily be avoided because the antlers glow when it is preparing to cast. Also this monster can raise it Magic Attack when it attacked.

A strange robot, powered by the same stones that keep Orbis afloat and are used in Alchemy experiments. It has a somewhat powerful missile attack. It has a roughly humanoid appearance, and roams the lonely Alcadno laboratories of Magatia.

Boss

A clock-like Owl toy that serves as the newest Area boss for Ludibrium. Timer can be found in the Clock Tower where Ticks and such reside. Timer's attack can knock you back a fair distance. When Timer does launch an attack, it's easy to tell as its' head spins around, revealing the opposite side, which is gray. It also has the ability to cast super magic and physical defense buffs, and sports a Super Knockback attack which can send attackers flying into the far wall of the room. Because of this, even high level players trying to reach the Clock Tower dungeon will find it annoying. When dead, cogs and table clocks are left in its place.

Scaredy Scarlion

One of the few monsters from MSEA's Malaysia maps that ISN'T a black blob. It's the first of a new variety of monsters found here. Resembles the character Kon from the anime series Bleach.

Ratatula

One of the few monsters from MSEA's Malaysia maps that ISN'T a black blob but it appears to be manifested by a black blob(based on it's eyes). It's the first of a new variety of monsters found here. This one appears to be some sort of bear or mouse.

Nightghost

A small flying monster that resembles Jr. Wraith. Really annoying, does average damage for its level. They appear in Zipangu's Cemetery, alongside Zombies.

Blin

This is just the ghost form. After you kill it, you will gain no experience, and it transforms to full form. Found in the Korean Folk Town.

The full form of the Bogeyman, it has a ranged magic attack where it drops a boulder on you. it also has a skill that can power itself up. This monster is resistent to ice.

Often referred to as Kappa, it's Japanese name, although, it's etc. drop's description refers to it as Hadong. A monster found in Zipangu's Mushroom Shrine. These maps are not available in all versions. Its' spawn can rival that of Forest of Golem, making it a good training spot for 60-75. It has 2 attacks; one of them involves launching something with its cucumber, while the other attack is an energy beam shot from its mouth, which is short range and unavoidable.

Also called the "big" Necki, or Big Snake. A monster in the style of Chief Gray, it has a magic attack that can be fatal to explorers. It must be hunted down for a quest (Because Jit hates Snakes). Found at the furthest reaches of the Floating Market.

A sailor monster carrying a large amount of Rope. His HP/EXP ratio and it's spawn are both great. But Selkie Jr is mostly hunted for his steely drop. This one seems to do more damage then his stronger brother Slimy. Spawns just outside Signapore's ghostship with Slimies, or alone inside the ghostship.

Additionally, unlike most monsters between 60 and 80, this has an exceptionally great HP to EXP ratio, which also contributes to their popularity. In GlobalMS, they have effectively replaced Zombies as the most popular training spot for this level range.

Only can be Found in JMS Shaolin Temple. He looks a lot like one of the Ninjas from Kaede Castle. His speed is 60, and he's one of the fastest monsters in the game. Appears in SongShan and often robs strangers.
