Yet another black blob monster from MapleSEA's Malaysia map. A smaller purple blob is riding this hippo like black blob around for some reason. Perhaps he's a fan of rodeos where cowboys try to stay on the bull. This monster has a Super Knock Back attack so watch out.

Jr. Gargoyle

This guy is pretty hard. He is one of the two leaders, wielding a sword that no mapler can obtain. He swipes his long sword at you for an attack. Acts like any Yakuza member, fights like an enemy mapler. Located in Showa Town's streets.

Samiho

It is a fox with three tails. It can do a magic attack that looks similar to Magic Claw, except purple. Its weakness to fire makes Fire mages consider training on them, although its avoidability can be a problem. Samiho is still young, but it will grow up to become the legendary Nine-Tailed Fox. Despite this fact, it's considered to be as powerful by the Korean Folk Town's residents. This monster is portrayed as Ariba in the MapleStory Anime, which is a bipedal version of this monster. Located in Korean Folk Town, and also found in the Pine Forest area of Mushroom Shrine, in Zipangu.

A Shrimp like monster that is found in Aqua Road. They can only do small jumps and don't move particularly fast or slow. The small jumps sometimes causes melee characters to completely miss it, meaning it didn't even say the word "miss". It doesn't give very good experience for its level, either. Found in a number of maps east of Aquarium.


Golden Mammoth

Brown Teddy

A cute cuddly bear that has come to life. Drops a magnificent amounts of mesos, as with most other Ludibrium monsters. It will occasionally fall and stand back up when not bothered for a while. Many players train on them in Terrace Hall at early levels.

Seruf

The second form of the Seruf, an area boss added to Aqua Road. It will spit pearls at any attackers, and if you get too close, it removes the upper half of its' shell and smashes down with it. Be careful when encountering it, since it has good close and long range attacks.


Muscle Stone

These golems are in the first stage of the Sharenian Guild quest, and are only extras blocking the real Muscle stone which is causing all of these to spawn. Possess a Magic attack which drops a rock on your head, though it isn't very deadly.

This is an upgraded version of Brown Teddy. It moves faster than it. It jumps and can fall down, too. Found in Ludibrium's Cloud and Sky Terrace area.

Monster Book: A pink teddy bear manufactured at the toy factory in Ludibrium. It has a cute yellow ribbon around its neck. This monster is controlled by an unknown force originating from the Dimensional Schism.

Another member of the Yakuza, found in the streets of Showa Town. Oddly, it has less HP than its lower level fellow Leader. If you attack close to him he'll hit you with his pistol. He can also shoot at you, which is unavoidable.

King Bloctopus

A more powerful Bloctopus, equipped with a magic attack, so be careful when provoking them. It has one magic attack: it shoots a small projectile with a long range, but can be dodged. Otherwise, it acts the same as any other Bloctopus. Located in the lower floors of Eos Tower.

You will need to kill this to get the golden keys to open the door for the Last Longinus Spear. Only found in the Sharenian Guild Quest. In the MapleStory Anime, this monster portrays the character 'Garusu'.


Nine-Tailed Fox

A nine-tailed fox that resides in a new map of Korean Folk Town called Moon Hill. Nine-Tailed Fox is the monster's name, but it is often referred to as Old Fox in quests. It is boss of the area and the highest level enemy of the Korean Folk Town area.

Old Foxes are fully grown Samihos, and they are responsible for stealing people's souls. Supposedly, it steals souls so it can become human. According to the Goblins, you can only return one's soul by tickling their nose with it's tail until they sneeze. It is aggressive and launches magical attacks upon sighting a player. Old Fox can also heal itself and the surrounding Samiho for small amounts of HP, and when defeated it drops a large amount of three-tailed foxtails.

This black blob is in control of what appears to be a spitting Cobra. It doesn't attack directly; instead, it plays its flute and tricks the Cobra into attacking instead by spitting at you. Once defeated, the cobra flees.

A mother duck on wheels with 3 ducklings on wheels following it. Fast, but it cannot jump. Resides with members of the teddy family, in Ludibrium's Cloud/Sky Terrace.

Monster Book: A family of ducks manufactured at the toy factory in Ludibrium. These toy ducks, comprised of a mother duck and her ducklings that follow behind, are being controlled by an unknown force originating from the Dimensional Schism.

Yellow King Goblin

Yellow Goblin King is the weakest of his brothers personality wise, being scared of many things from the dark (which is Ironic because Black Mountain is always dark) to yelling human women. This one is fire based.

Green Goblin King will never let down a challenge to wrestle someone, he loves it, especially under a full moon. This one is poison based.

Desert Rabbits enjoy hanging out around the Oasis of Ariant in large numbers. The female and the male apparently have different diets; the females eat clovers, while males eat carrots.

Monster Book: A female Desert Rabbit found in deserts. Has a characteristically small pair of ears and a round body. Its staple food are clovers and carrots which grow around oases, and so these Desert Rabbits tend to be very good at finding food and water even in the deep desert. Desert Rabbits were apparently beloved pets that used to be raised by many a desert nomads.

A Toy Knight on a wooden horse. Fast and incredibly durable, they also have the ability to increase their physical attack and defense. They reside in Ludibrium: Secret Factory and Sky Terrace area. Quite a pain to lower leveled players when summoned. These also appear in the Amoria Party Quest.


Block Golem

Found in Ariant, the desert area. Desert Rabbits like to hang out around the oasis in Ariant. The males and females have different diets; The male eats carrots, while females like clovers.

Monster Book: A male Desert Rabbit that lives only in the desert as its name defines. Its small ears and round body render this monster unique, not to mention its ability to find food and water in the seemingly barren desert. It feeds on clovers and carrots, and it has frequently served as a pet to the nomads in the desert.

A monster located in a Hidden Tower off the 8th floor of the Eos Tower. Both "Lombard" and "Rombot" are used to name it because of its Korean translation. Its shockwaves are nothing to sneeze at. Despite being the most powerful monster in the Eos Tower, it neither moves fast nor has the ability to jump, though it is usually surrounded by Regular and King Block Golems.

King Block Golem

Cuzco

A minion summoned by Zakum It can fly. Seems to be a reference to Incan culture. Cuzco means "belly button" in the Inca's native language and is the name of the capital of the Incan empire (which today is a city in Peru).

A young walking cactus. Found with its mother in a single Ariant map, though there's a hidden street that has quite a few of them. They can't really compare to horny Mushrooms, though, since they have so much more HP for only 2 more experience.

Monster Book: A type of cactus plant that lives only in the desert. This youngling is still not old enough to get out of its nappy. Before you pick it up to hold this cute, waddling monster, remember that cactus needles that cover its body can inflict injury.


Ardin

A member of the Sand Bandits, who are leading the rebellion in Ariant. He challenges characters to a fight as the last task of his series of quests. He should not be a threat if you're able to knock him back constantly; completely harmless to ranged characters who can. His defeat will enable a player to join the Sand Bandits.

Spawns in the caves of Crimsonwood mountain and throughout the phantom forest in Masteria.

The dark clone of Dances with Balrog. In order to advance as a Crusader, White Knight, or Dragon Knight, a warrior must challenge this monster when above level 60 and defeat it. Has a powerful attack that only works melee. Wields a glowing version of the level 80 one handed axe Gaea. While it's hard to avoid in battle since a Warrior needs to go close as well, if you need to heal or re-add enchantment, you can just run away from the clone and he won't be able to hurt you at any distance. He is also able to cast Blind and summons Tauromacis.

Uses 3rd Job Mage skills, such as Explosion. Slowest attacking clone and an easy fight for mages, since it cannot teleport, while they can (teleporting at the right moment negates Grendel's attacks). It can also seal and summons Tauromacis.

The dark clone of Athena Pierce. In order to advance as a Ranger or Sniper, a bowman must challenge this monster when level 60 or above and defeat it. She is wearing a brown Lineros (level 70 female overall) and wields the famed Dark Arund. The strafe fired by Athena is unusual in that it is only a single powerful arrow. Athena is also able to inflict weakness, which will interfere with jumpshots and evading Athena's attacks. She can also summons Tauromacis.

Also uses 3rd Job skills, such as a Hermit's Avenger. Wears a Golden version of the level 60 thief hat Identity, and wields the Dark Scarab and a Dark Stud top and bottom. It can use weaken, which is a disadvantage to assassins, so stay out of it's affliction range. She can also summons Tauromacis.
