Tae Gong the fisherman finds a book while fishing, and decides to dispose of it by giving it to you. Wiz the Librarian senses this, and runs to you, telling you to find out what's happening in the book. As you enter the book, you discover that the town's Daimyo ruler has been replaced with an impostor, according to Sasuke the guard. It's up to you to find the Daimyo's daughter, Princess Suzume, and to find out where the real Daimyo is, leading up to a boss battle with the [[MapleStory/Monsters/Level 71-80#Daimyo Toad|impostor]], who is revealed to really be a [[MapleStory/Monsters/Level 71-80#Gigatoad|giant toad]].

==Changes from previous versions==
When Sakura Castle replaced Kaede/Ninja Castle, the entire series of maps was replaced. The outside was given two new areas with monsters, the inner walls of the castle became linear, the maze through the castle was replaced by a linear progression of maps, the jump quest was removed, and all of the monsters were made easier (to fit within the 70-80 level range).
 
Note that Crusader Codex cards from Ninja Castle are shared by the Sakura Castle versions of those monsters, so if you finished the set previously, it is still completed. It is now much easier to complete the set, since Kacchuu Musha (now Sakura Samurai) was replaced by a normal monster version and castellan/Emperor (now Daimyo) was replaced by an instanced area that always spawns the boss. Players no longer have to wait for spawn timers to kill these monsters. Also: Sakura Toads drop Daimyo cards.

  • You can enter Sakura Castle by either double clicking the Mystical Book in your Use Inventory, or by using the Dimensional Mirror.

Defeat the Gigatoad![edit]

Location Fuji will contact you via lightbulb. Reward 130,000 experience
Completion Requirements
  • Talk to Fuji.
  • Enter the Daimyo's Chambers, where the Barrier used to be.
  • Defeat the Gigatoad, which spawns after the Daimyo Toad is defeated, and collect Gigatoad Coin Purse.
  • Click the brown chest on the right of the map to free the real Daimyo, and talk to him.
  • Head back to Imperial Villa and talk to Princess Suzume.
