Towns & Places

In the MapleWorld, there are a few islands(currently): - Maple Island - Victoria Island - Ossyria - Other cities/towns

With each having different towns:

Maple Island

Maple Island has 3 towns:

• Mushroom Town: This is where you start to learn the basics of the game, with quests that require simple tasks such as talking to an NPC (Non-playable-character) and learning the basics of attacking and jumping.

• Amherst: Another small town with an armory and potion shop, here you will meet more NPCs and new quests as well.

• Southperry: Southernmost port town where you can also meet new NPCs, quests and the ship that will take you to the main island, Victoria Island for 150 mesos. Note that you cannot go back to Maple Island once you go to Victoria Island.

Victoria Island

This Island has 5 towns and 1 mini town:

• Lith Harbor: This is the first town you arrive to in Victoria Island, another port town, with better shops, many quests and access to Florina Beach.

• Henesys: The Archer town, located on the plains of Victoria Island. Here you meet Athena Pierce who gives you the job advancement at level 10 to become Archer. In its stores you can find all Archer related items. This town has Free Market Access.

• Ellinia: The Magician town, located in a tall forest. You find Grendel the Really Old that gives you the Magician job advancement (only job advancement that can be taken at level 8) and all Magician-related stuff. Here you can buy MP potions for a cheaper price. Connected to Sixtopia(a sky dock), where the ship headed for Ossyria is located. No Free Market Access.

• Perion: The Warrior town, located among the crags. You meet Dances with Balrog to become a Warrior at level 10. Perion sells warrior equipment. This town has Free Market Access.

• Kerning City: Rogue (or Thief) town, the only city in Victoria Island. You can find Dark Road, who gives you the thief job advancement. Kerning City sells thief-related items. The party quest on Victoria Island can be done here. Connected to the swamps of despair via the sewers. No Free Market Access.

• Sleepywood: This town lies in the middle of Victoria Island. Accessible through every town except Lith Harbor and Ellinia. Offers a sauna where weary travellers can rest for a fee. Tough monsters live in its dungeons, so you should be fairly high-leveled to fully explore it. You can buy many varied items in here.

• Florina Beach: A beach isle located just off the shore of Victoria Island. Home to creatures such as Lorangs, Clangs, Lupins and Umtis. Rich in coconuts.

Ossyria

It is not recommended that you go to Ossyria until you are at least level 30. Monsters there are quite tough for a low-leveled character. Many newbies pay the expensive fare only to be stuck at Ossyria with no way back (since the monsters are hard to defeat, for them).

Accessible through the sky dock in Ellinia, you're taken there by a boat that leaves every 15 minutes. Boarding starts a few minutes before the ship leaves, and you cannot get on if it is leaving within a minute. Note Ludibrium is part of Ossyria.

Ossyria currently has 5 towns:

• Orbis: A cloud city. This is where you arrive at, you can find high level equipment and items here. Guilds can be formed at the Guild Headquarters located in this town. You can find Orbis tower to the far right, a 20 story tower which you must go down if you wish to reach El Nath.

• El Nath: A snow covered town located in a deep valley. The cold is so intense in its outskirts that you will lose HP constantly, but this can be solved by consuming a Red Bean soup, sold in the El Nath potion shop. You can find high leveled equipment here as well, but the prices are steep. This town has Free Market Access.

(NOTE: This will be completed eventually.)

• Aquarium: A city located in the depths of the ocean. Accessible through the orbis tower basement.

• Ludibrium: A city made of toys and blocks. Commonly known as Lego Land. Accessible from Orbis via a flying toy train.

• Omega Sector: Part of Ludibrium. Located at some point in the Eos Tower, perhaps on the first floor.

• Cinnian / Peach Blossom Island: A place with misty mountains and peach blossoms. Couples can get married here.
