Orbis is very bright and cheerful, with a mythical appearance. Most of Orbis' residents are Angel-like Fairies, with a friendly relationship to the Fairies of Ellinia. It has 2 main sections: Orbis Tower and the Cloud Park.
Also available in Orbis is the guild headquarters, where one may travel to create a guild, and Orbis Station, the main "airport" of MapleStory, allowing transport to Ellinia, Ludibrium, Leafre, Mu Lung and Ariant. One may also access Florina Beach for free, if they possess a VIP Ticket, or for a small fee.

The Cloud Park is as its name suggests: an area that is sort of like a park, situated on clouds. It extends quite aways, branching off into two areas, one featuring the "kitties" and one featuring the "pixies".
The "kitty" area features maps that contain Jr. Cellions, Lioners, and Grupins, as well as their "senior" forms. The kitties are grouped into Gardens according to size and color. At the Deepest point, are Lucidas, large evil kitties. Lucida are the strongest monsters found in Orbis.
The "pixie" area features maps that contain Star, Lunar, and Luster Pixies, as well as Nependeaths and Fieries. Pixies are often hunted for exchange pieces and a number of quests.

Orbis Tower is a tower with 20 floors. Near the top is a secret room, where the Orbis Party Quest, for levels 51-70, takes place. At the end of this PQ is the powerful boss Papa Pixie, difficult for even the most powerful party, a team of full level 70 characters. Upon reaching the bottom, players end up in El Nath. Players may use an Orbis Rock Scroll to instantly teleport between the 20th and 1st floors. These Scrolls are obtainable via Huckle's Magic Ingredients quest, in which players gain 5 each time they complete the quest. Huckle is located in a room off the 10th floor, and the quest may only be done once per 24 hours.
The tower features monsters such as Sentinels, Leatties, and Jr. Pepes. At the First Floor, a door leads to subsequent basement floors, eventually plunging underwater to the town of Aquarium, and further out to Korean Folk Town.
