{{MapleStory/Monster|Lycanthrope|Summons Werewolves|80|27,000|300|28|5,000|850|A much more powerful Werewolf, able to summon its lower brethren, and sporting a resistance to ice-based attacks... at the expense of a fire-based weakness. However, much as a Werewolf has a high weapon defense, a Lycanthrope has a high magic defense. A powerful Fire Wizard/Mage, however, can handle one without much trouble. Make sure to avoid its claw attack though; use the same methods to avoid it as you would on a Werewolf! It is one of only two non-boss monsters known to drop Ilbi throwing stars. It is also the only known monster to drop the extremely rare Blue Screamer, a level 80 2-handed sword (which is actually worth more than Ilbis). The only non boss monster that can summon weaker monsters. In versions with 4th job Advancement. Weaker versions of this monster are assigned on a plot to capture Tylus in a Henesys PQ style map. Located deep in El Nath, just before the Zombie maps.}}

In order to advance as a Crusader, White Knight, or Dragon Knight, a warrior must challenge this monster when above level 70 and defeat it. Has a powerful attack that only works melee. Wields a glowing version of the level 80 one handed axe Gaea. While it's hard to avoid in battle since a Warrior needs to go close as well, if you need to heal or re-add enchantment, you can just run away from the clone and he won't be able to hurt you at any distance. He is also able to cast Blind, striking at a warrior's weakness of lower accuracy and hurting a warrior's chances to hit the boss.}}
{{MapleStory/Monster|Grendel The Really Old's Clone|3rd Job Boss
Summons Tauromacis|80|90,000|820|10|1,500|2,400|The dark clone of Grendel the Really Old. In order to advance as a Mage or Priest, a magician must challenge this monster when level 70 or above and defeat it. Uses 3rd Job Mage skills, such as Explosion. {{MapleStory/Monster|Fire Sentinel||76|34,000|2,000|5|5|535|The fiery version on the Sentinel. Easily slain by Ice attacks. Uses a magic attack that is impossible to avoid. Found in Orbis Tower's upper-middle levels.}}
{{MapleStory/Monster|Athena Pierce's Clone|3rd Job Boss
Summons Tauromacis|80|120,000|510|25|1,500|2,400|The dark clone of Athena Pierce. In order to advance as a Ranger or Sniper, a bowman must challenge this monster when level 70 or above and defeat it. She is wearing a brown Lineros (level 70 female overall) and wields the famed Dark Arund. Seems to have a slower attack rate than evil dark lord, unless it decides to use strafe. The strafe fired by Athena is unusual in that it is only a single powerful arrow. Athena is also able to inflict weakness, which will interfere with jumpshots and evading Athena's attacks.}}

{{MapleStory/Monster|Dark Lord's Clone|3rd Job Boss
Summons Tauromacis|80|120,000|510|32|1,500|2,400|The dark clone of the Dark Lord. In order to advance as a Chief Bandit or Hermit, a thief must challenge this monster when level 70 or above and defeat it. Also uses 3rd Job skills, such as a Hermit's Avenger. Wears a Golden version of the level 60 thief hat Identity, and wields the Dark Scarab and a Dark stud top and bottoms. It can use weaken, which is a disadvantage to assassins, so stay out of it's affliction range. The Tauromacis it summons when near death prove to be more annoying than the boss itself, so try to finish it off before they can be summoned.}}
{{MapleStory/Monster|Ice Sentinel||76|34,000|2,000|5|5|535|The icy version of the Sentinel. Easily slain by fire attacks. Uses a magic attack that is impossible to avoid. Found in Orbis Tower's middle-lower levels.}}

Usually a party is needed to kill it, preferably with different classes.}}

{{MapleStory/Monster|Low Darkstar|Appear with Papulatus
Boss|80|10,000|200|15|10,000|0|Kill them quickly. Their explosion attack is nothing to laugh at (unless one finds hilarity in death), normally causing instant death. In Japan Maplestory, they have nerfed this monster to making it auto-selfdestruct when touched but lowered its damage from 10k to 4k. As of Patch V.037, JMS's Auto-selfdestruct system applies to Global Darkstars, making Papulatus beatable once again.}}

{{MapleStory/Monster|Homunscullo||80|27,000|300|28|2,800|850| A huge, monstrous Homunculus, a failed attempt at creating a person with the powers of Alchemy. {{MapleStory/Monster|Krappy||76|34,000|2,000|10|10|535|A clownfish found in east Aqua Road.}}
{{MapleStory/Monster|Wolf Spider||80|28,000|350|30|1,000|1,200|A powerful mechanical spider monster that roams the deepest parts of Bigger Ben in New Leaf City. Currently, this is the most powerful monster located there. They had something to do with running Jack Masque out of Amoria.
