Mushroom Castle is a theme dungeon accessible to players from levels 30+ by entering a portal located at Singing Mushroom Forest : Ghost Mushroom Forest. The story of Mushroom Kingdom revolves around princess Violetta. As King Pepe takes over the kingdom, he forces Violetta to marry his son Giuseppe. Players must stop the wedding from taking place by defeating three different colored Yeti and Pepe King monsters as well as the Prime Minister - the one who is behind this incident.

Players going into the portal will not enter the castle directly, but will instead, enter a map called "Mushroom Forest Field", which is where the chased away leaders of the kingdom set up their camp. In order to enter the castle, players have two choices: Either by completing the quests from the Head Security Officer to obtain a Killer Mushroom Spore Potion and Thorn Remover to destroy the barriers of the castle, or by collecting a Poison Spore to temporarily break the first barrier and go to a map called "Mushroom Castle: Shadow Cliffs" and use the giant spring to enter the castle.
