Omega Sector.

Omega Sector is a futuristic military base that can be accessed via the bottom floor of Eos Tower in Ludibrium (and also using a Return-to-nearest-town scroll at floors 66 and below). Omega Sector is located on a small island in Ludus Lake, alongside its twin island Korean Folk Town, both of which are used to keep Ludibrium afloat via two towers. Soldiers roam the city, and an NPC that suspiciously resembles a member of the Men In Black stands at the far end. Guards are posted at every exit to prevent intruders from entering. It is mainly a forest-type area, serving as the main attack point for the two main species of aliens: an octopus-like species, related to the octopuses found in Kerning City, and a more traditional style (what most people consider to be "aliens") species known as the Grays.

The NPCs in the town give a fair number of quests, some of which bear hefty rewards. A number of the NPCs are wearing colored uniforms are referred to as the "Meso Rangers", a reference to Power Rangers. One of the quests is modeled after Rowen the Fairy of Ellinia's Cursed Doll quest, while others are modeled after the traditional item-gathering quest style. Many involve traversing Eos Tower up and down to Ludibrium, or killing off monsters inside the tower like Rombot and Drum Bunnies, so be sure to keep some Eos Scrolls handy if you plan on spending much time here. After completing some quests, return-scrolls like Warp Capsules can be obtained which allow for instant transport between the two towns. Also, before heading out for Omega, make sure to speak to Chief Stan in Henesys, as he has a letter to be taken down there, which serves as an introduction to many of the characters and is a prerequisite for many of the other quests.

There is a "Silo" area in the center of the town, which acts as the main supply-area for Omega Sector. Inside the Silo are the potion, weapon, armor, and storage NPCs. The Silo has three entry points at various floors as it is quite large. Omega is famed as having the lowest potion prices of all towns in the whole game. Despite all these positives, it is often used as the example of a "ghost town", an almost completely unused area, because of how difficult it is to reach. Recently, some steps have been taken to amend this, such as a portal that leads here has been added to Nautilus Harbor.

In GlobalMS, an NPC called Spindle can be found here. Through the use of Forging Manuals obtained from NPCs in New Leaf City, many different customs weapons can be created. Much of the technology in use in New Leaf City originates in Omega Sector, and the Grays seem important to other aspects of NLC.

Mateons and Plateons in Omega Sector's Boswell Field.

Boswell Field, its name a pun on "Roswell (New Mexico)", an area known for alien stories, is home to the Mateon, Plateon, and Mecateon purple aliens. These aliens are related to the strange Octopus monsters from Victoria Island. It has a number of hidden streets, one of which features MT-09 (an area boss) at the end. It is reached via the upper route in "Off Limits".

Kulan Field

Ultra Grays in Kulan Field.

Kulan Field is the home to all aliens known as Grays. The grays are significantly more intelligent and more devious than the Mateons, as they will trick players into stealing top secret information from the Omega Sector for them. At the end of Kulan Field is where the Chief Grays are found. The background changes between a huge UFO crashed in the ground and Giant robots fighting, both in front of a mountainous, forested backdrop. It is reached via the lower route in "Off Limits". Here also lies the Gray's Prairie, where Geno (the area boss) resides.
