Once you have access to San Commerci, Cassandra will contact you via lightbulb to get you started, and tell you to head to Maestra Fiammeta at the Trading Post. She will explain to you about voyages and what you are expected to do. She will give you a Cargo Skiff as your initial starting boat, which can be upgraded as you gain trade voyage experience (not regular experience). Each ship has 100 energy, and the energy consumed is determined by which location you go to (listed [[#Locations|here]]). Your ship will have an exclusive skill for use, and each time you upgrade it, you will unlock a new skill. However, once you upgrade, your existing skill will be set back to level one. Trade Voyages can only be done by yourself, but the Merchant Union Trade is open to 3 people.
